Kiwanis International

Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world—one child and one community at a time. For over a century, Kiwanians—service-minded men and women—have united across cultures, backgrounds, and continents to address pressing community needs with compassion, dedication, and practical action.

At Kiwanis, we believe that any community need can become a service project, and we place a special emphasis on programs that benefit children. Our members create and support initiatives that range from local projects—like literacy programs, youth mentorship, and community cleanups—to large-scale international efforts. One of our signature global initiatives is Kiwanis International’s Worldwide Service Project, which focuses on eliminating Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus (MNT), a preventable condition that affects thousands of mothers and newborns each year.

Every year, Kiwanians dedicate more than six million volunteer hours and contribute over $100 million to service projects that strengthen communities and provide children with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through hands-on projects, fundraising, advocacy, and educational programs, Kiwanis helps children lead healthy, safe, and successful lives while fostering stronger, more resilient communities.

Our members also recognize that service is about more than just projects—it’s about building relationships and creating lasting impact. By investing in children, supporting families, and improving communities, Kiwanis empowers people to make meaningful changes where they live and work. We believe that by helping one child, we can ultimately help a world.

Kiwanis International is more than a volunteer organization; it is a movement of compassion, leadership, and action, bringing together people from all walks of life to improve the quality of life for children and communities worldwide. Whether through local initiatives or global campaigns, Kiwanians work tirelessly to ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow up healthy, confident, and empowered to reach their full potential.
