Fourth of July

A long-standing Lake Bluff tradition, the Kiwanis 4th of July Pancake Breakfast has been bringing the community together rain or shine since 1972. For decades, residents and visitors have started their Independence Day celebration with a delicious breakfast served by dedicated Kiwanis volunteers, creating memories that last a lifetime.

This event is made possible only through the support of generous donations and the hard work of volunteers. Every pancake served helps fund local programs and initiatives that support children and families in our community.

If you are interested in volunteering or helping with the breakfast, we would love to hear from you. It’s a fun way to give back, meet fellow community members, and be part of a cherished local tradition.

We hope to see you on the Fourth of July to enjoy pancakes, camaraderie, and community spirit. Your support—whether through volunteering or donations—ensures this beloved event continues to thrive for generations to come.
